Greg Evan Wilkes, 58, of Brunswick Georgia, passed away on September 12, 2021, after a short illness. Greg was born on July 20, 1963, to Linda Dian and Don Wiley Wilkes. After graduating from Hendersonville High School in 1981 he went on to work at Georgia Pacific in Brunswick, Georgia where he had an over 30-year career. Greg is survived by his Mother Linda McNeely Guadagno and Stepfather Anthony Guadagno, his children, Evan Wilkes, Carrington Wilkes, and Ashton Wilkes, his siblings, Chris Wilkes (Sharon), Vicki Wilkes Caraway (John), and Michael Wilkes (Leigh), his lifelong friend Jamee Meyer and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased in death by his Grandparents, Otis and Hazel McNeely, Myrtice McGuirt, John W. Wilkes, and his father, Don W. Wilkes. Greg was a devoted Father and loved spending time with his girls and his best canine friend Bailey. He had a crazy sense of humor and loved making everyone around him laugh. His love, laughter, and sense of humor will forever be missed. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Golden Isles Cremation Center is honored to be in charge of the cremation services.
