Harold Jefferson Altman Jr., known as "Jeff", 75, of Brunswick, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System on September 29, 2025.

Jeff was a life-long native of Brunswick, born to Kola Grace and Harold J. Altman Sr. on May 25, 1950, and he graduated from Glynn Academy. He worked for the City of Brunswick as a Supervisor at Waste Management. He married Susan Jean Harris and raised two lovely daughters with her. In his spare time, Jeff loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Nascar Racing, especially Bill Elliott. He also liked watching the reality show Moonshiners on the Discovery Channel.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Ann Mizell, Donna Blackmon, and Debra Altman; and his brother, Randy Altman.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Altman; his daughters, Amanda Armstrong (Bobby), and Crystal Altman; his grandchildren, Clayton Hingey, Colleen Hingey, Cailynn Altman, and Luke Altman; his brother, David Altman; and six nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in Jeff's honor at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home on October 17, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. with a visitation for family and friends 30 minutes prior. Taylor Gordon will be officiating.
