Harriet D. Jacobs, 66, of Brunswick died Wednesday at Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus. She had been a resident of Brunswick for the past thirty years, having come from Savannah, and was a home maker. She is survived by her son, Willis D. Strickland of Savannah; daughter and step-daughter, Stacie Jacobs of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Sherry Dawson of Brunswick; two sisters, Estelle Corey of Cincinnati, Ohio and Tanya Dipaola of Providence, Rhode Island; one brother, Marvin Cory of Eatonton, Georgia, one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Private interment will occur in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Earl Parrish officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
