Ida Dell Metcalf of Brunswick, Georgia, died peacefully in her sleep on August 22, 2012. Born in Maryland on February 23, 1921, she lived much of her life in Miami, Florida. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Walton Tennant; Jack Metcalf, her husband of 33 years; and her son, Albert William Tennant. She is survived by her sister, Nellie Reedy; daughters-in-law Marie Bauer and Julie Bedenbaugh; and her granddaughters Laura, Denise, and Patricia Tennant. The family will welcome visitors at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home in Brunswick, Georgia on Friday, August 24 from 5-7pm. Interment will occur 11 am Tuesday, August 28 at the Woodlawn Park North Cemetery in Miami, Florida.
