Isaias Gomez-Pena, 38, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in Brunswick.

Born in Vera Cruz, Mexico, Isaias was a resident of the Brunswick area for 12 years and was a self-employed painting contractor enjoying an occupation that had been his passion since he was a boy. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He enjoyed being on the water, fishing, skiing, and boating and bowling with his family. He was a real people person and enjoyed hosting parties and BBQing for friends and family. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. A fun-loving person, Isaias especially enjoyed aggravating his wife, Angelica.

Isaias was also a kind and generous man. If someone was in need, no matter who it was, if it was within his power, he would help them.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Angelica Marroquin Gomez; his children, Jonathan, Jainie, Krystal, Izaac, and Juan Pablo; parents, Juan and Gumercinda Gomez; brother, Juan Miquel Gomez-Pena; sister, Jasmine Gomez-Pena; father- and mother-in-law, Pablo and Blanca Marroquin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home, with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am, Friday, May 31, 2023, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Burial in Brunswick Memorial Park will follow.
