James Wesley Toler, 78, a resident of Brunswick, died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System.
A native of Treutlen County, he was a resident of Brunswick for 58 years. He worked for 16 years as a certified welder for B&W and later at Grabber Manufacturing. In 2006 he established Flo Jo Trucking Company.
Wesley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Florine Willis Toler; son, Anthony Toler and daughter, Marie Toler, both of Brunswick; three sisters, Gail Holton, Betty Jean Kersey, and Faye Hardy; two grandchildren, A.J. Toler and Alex Toler; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11 am, Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Golden Isles Church of God with Pastor Justin Smith, Pastor Nathan Smith, and Pastor John Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Turner, James Scott, Joey Scott, Jerry Futch, Chris Futch, and Michael Futch.
