James Henry "Jimmy" Tucker, 71, of Brunswick died Monday, November 6, 2017 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems surrounded by family. He was born in North Carolina to Gaston and Susie Tucker. Jimmy served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Anguilla Hunt Club where he spent a great deal of his time. He had amazing sense of humor, and everyone enjoyed his jokes and laughter. He loved to cook, especially cookies. Jimmy was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Tucker. Survivors include his wife, Sandra "Sandy" Tucker; children, Susan Alford (Vincent) and Robert Tucker (Theresa); six grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Larry Tucker (Linda) and two nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideons International PO Box 476 Brunswick, Georgia or a charity of your choice. A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, November 10, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park with the Dr. Don Spires officiating.
