Jason Chadrick "Chad" Crosby, 48, of Townsend passed away unexpectedly at Southeast Georgia Health Systems Saturday, January 1, 2021, from complications relating to high blood pressure.
Born February 18, 1973, in Brunswick, Georgia, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy and Coastal Pines Technical College. He worked for Crosby Refrigeration Heating and Air with his family for several years and most recently for Benson Food Company at FLETC. Chad attended Christian Renewal Church and enjoyed fishing, watching Football – especially the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons, and playing video games.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Crosby; his grandparents, Courtlen and Aileen Crosby and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sweat; and several aunts and uncles.
He was survived by his mother, Vicki Crosby of Townsend; brother, Sean Crosby of Brunswick; two special aunts, Gloria Burney (Glenn) of Waycross and Martha Blackmon (George) of Jacksonville, FL; nieces, Riley Crosby of Brunswick and Skyler Crosby Stalvey (Gage) of Ray City, GA; one great-niece, Ivey Stalvey; a daughter, Makenzie Crosby of St. Simons Island; and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 2pm in the chapel at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will speak to friends immediately following the service in the foyer of the funeral home.
