IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Michael
Ebersol
January 21, 1973 – November 20, 2025
Jason Michael Ebersol, 52, of Brunswick passed on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
Born January 21, 1973, in Miami, Florida, he was the son of James Thurston and Margarita Avila Ebersol. Jason was raised in the Baptist faith in Hialeah, FL, and attended Dade Christian School, where he played tuba in the marching band and graduated with the Class of 1991.
Jason lived in Boston, Orlando, and Jacksonville, before settling in Brunswick in 2018. After working as a manager in the pawn industry for many years, he began his career with VyStar Credit Union, where, as a Senior Relationship Specialist, he treasured his work family and his customers adored him. He was the recipient of the Circle of Excellence every year he was with VyStar.
Jason was a devoted family man who was kind and respectful towards everyone he met. He always had a twinkle in his eyes and a contagious smile on his face. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a member of the Judah Riders – part of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. A proud geek, Jason was an avid Star Trek fan, with a particular fondness for Mr. Spock.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Thurston Ebersol.
Jason is survived by his wife, Hannah Wright; sons, Sean, Connor (Joni), and Aleczander Ebersol; daughters, Zoë and Abigail Spence; mother, Margarita Ebersol Moore; brother, Mark Ebersol Moore; one granddaughter, Amelia Ebersol; nieces, Amaryllis Benoit, Destiny Moore; Ashlyn May (Kyle), Cassie Duke (Tyler), and Caitlyn Cleghorne; nephew, Mark Tyler Ebersol Moore; and many cousins in his mother's birthplace of Cuba.
A private memorial service will be held in January.
Remembrances made in the form of donations in Jason's memory to his favorite charity,
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, would be deeply appreciated. (St. Jude 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105)
As Mr. Spock so logically stated, "Every life comes to an end when time demands it. Loss of life is to be mourned, but only if the life was wasted." So do not mourn Jason; instead, rejoice in a life lived fully.
Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Jason Ebersol.
