Jean E. Williams was born September 16, 1946, in Mcintosh County, Georgia. She was the only daughter to the late Charlie and Elizabeth Williams and is preceded in death by her brothers Author and Charlie Williams Jr.

Jean was a graduate of Todd Grant High School. She later moved to Brunswick, Ga. where she studied to be a phlebotomist and became devoted employee of Southeast Georgia Health System for 25 plus years before retiring. During her time at the hospital, Jean flourished, known for being able to draw blood from patients with hard veins. It was also here where she received the nickname "Mean Jean" that would stick with her forever.

To know Jean was to love Jean, she had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was contagious. She loved to speak her mind and would make sure you knew exactly what she was thinking with her no filter approach at life. She loved her Boston Terrier, Ben. Everyone knew that Ben was not just a dog, Ben was her other son!

Jean Williams peacefully departed this life on November 21, 2022. She leaves to forever cherish her memories, her daughter Michelle (Andrew) McClendon, and son Robert (Sharon) Harrell. Brother Simon William, Grandchildren LaTrease (Reggie) Jackson, Ashley (Breon) Loyd, Milton (Tiara) Thorpe, and Andrew McClendon II. Twelve greatgrandchild, a hep of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
