Jeanett L. Newbern, 92, of Brunswick died Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family and her beloved dog, Blanco. An extremely frugal person and a hard worker, Jeanett worked until she was 92. Most recently serving her community at Goodwill Job Connections. She loved her family and particularly loved her vacation time with her daughter. Jeanett was also a lover of all animals. One of the favorite exchanges between her granddaughter in law and herself. Jeanette would say "Wait a Minute" and Annette would say "Hold On". They would just giggle. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Newbern; and sons, Bill Cochran and David Cochran. Survivors include daughter, Pam Tryballa; daughters in law, Eloise Cochran, Linda Dyal Puccio and Robin Miles; grandchildren, Jim Cochran (Annette), Angel Cochran, Melanie Cochran, Melissa Cochran, Shawn Tryballa, Brian Cochran, David Cochran, and Craig Cochran; twenty-five great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia 4627 US Hwy 17 North Brunswick, GA 31525. A visitation will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral will be Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Palmetto Cemetery.
