Jeanette A. Searcy, 82, of Brunswick died Sunday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Mrs. Searcy was a longtime resident of Brunswick. She graduated from Glynn Academy in 1949. She was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Searcy worked at Belk's, and upon her retirement from Belk's she worked at Sea Island Company. Graveside Services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens, St. Simons Island. Survivors include one son, Joseph (Wanda) Searcy of Waco, GA.; three daughters, Belinda (Clark) Mitchell of Whitesburg, GA., Patricia (Frederick) Lowe of Jacksonville, FL., and Rebecca (Dennis) Crews of Brunswick; one sister, Gerrie Miller of Brackettville, TX.; six grandchildren, Nina Brumley, Nicholas Rhodes, Amanda Medlock, Justin Crews, Kimberly Garrison and Greg Mitchell; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
