Stone
August 16, 1940 – April 6, 2025
Jelon Earl Stone, 84, of Darien, Georgia, passed away on April 6, 2025, at the Southeast Georgia Health Systems Brunswick Campus. He was born on August 16, 1940, to the late Earl and Marie Stone.

Jelon was a commercial fisherman with Captain Jack Gale on the boat The Beach King for 18 years. He also worked with the City of Darien as superintendent for 17 years. In his free time, Jelon ran a produce stand called PoBoy Produce and loved to hunt, fish, watch Fox News while eating his popsicles, and making sure that Trump won.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Stone; children, Michele Staten (Charles), Melissa Roberts (Dayne), and Kailyee Stone; grandchildren, Rachel Roberts, Jessica Holmes, and John Blackburn; as well as a whole lot of great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
