Jennifer Ilean Bradford, 51, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2023 at home in St. Simons Island, Georgia.
Jennifer was born on February 18, 1972 to John and Sandra Bradford in Honolulu, Hawaii. She grew up in Orange County, California, attending Van Buren Elementary School in Yorba Linda and Kraemer Junior High in Placentia. In 1986, she moved to North Carolina and graduated from Sun Valley High School (Monroe, NC) in 1990. After attending school in Maryland, Jennifer went on to become a skin aesthetician and worked at salons in Alexandria (VA), Atlanta (GA) and Charlotte (NC). She took great joy serving her clients in the health and beauty industry.
Jennifer loved music, film, pop culture, and spending time with her family and friends. In 2007, she was diagnosed with cancer and never let it define her or compromise her ambitions. Her perseverance and enduring spirit was an inspiration. All her family and friends wish to thank the doctors, surgeons, and staff of Carolinas Medical Center of Charlotte and Hospice of the Golden Isles for her wonderful care and treatment over the last fifteen years. She will be remembered by all for her warm smile, lively conversations, thoughtful gifts, and infectious laughter.
Jennifer is survived by her son, Indiana Bradford-Oyler (20); by her mother, Sandra Helm (Brett); by her father John Bradford (Gay).; by her three sisters, Amanda Talk (Doug), Jordyn Jenkins, and Brittany Merritt (James); by her two brothers, John Bradford (Heather) and Andrew Bradford (Jennifer); and nieces and nephews (Charlotte, Wyatt, Harris, Asher, Brady, Alexandra).
Funeral services and a reception will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 12th at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, St. Simons Island, Georgia.
