Jerry Reeves, 81 of Brunswick GA, graduated to Heaven on July 5th, 2023. A date and time for a Memorial service will be announced soon and will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church 1010 Old Jesup Rd Brunswick with Bro Wayne White officiating. Born at home March 4th, 1942, Rural RT. 4, Smith County, Polkville Mississippi to Junior B. Reeves and Betty Lois (Parkman) Reeves. Jerry retired from FLETC in 1998. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Jerry enjoyed collecting and selling in the Brunswick area for years. Daddy loved being the Junkman—searching for and preserving treasure from the past to present it to the next generation. Chief among his treasures were faith, family, friends, and freedom. All the other things, carnival glass, milk glass, red glass, pottery and furniture; were just to pass the time. Jerry was preceded by both parents, three older and three younger siblings; and by a daughter Martha Butler of Morton MS. Surviving family are Kimberly (Kim) Reeves (Wife) and four sons Bryan Reeves, Cody Green, Jacob Reeves, and Trevor Reeves. Grandchildren Benjamin Reeves, Emily Gobart, Malachi Reeves, Wyatt Green, AZ Blaze Green, Presley Reeves; and seven Great Grandchildren.
