John K. Anderson, 71, of Oak Grove Island passed away on March 15, 2016 after an
extended battle with various illnesses.
Mr. Anderson was a native of Allendale, SC and graduated from Clemson University
(with honors) and Duke University School of Law where he was a member of the Moot
Court Board. After graduating from Duke, Mr. Anderson practiced in New York City for
two and a half years before relocating to Washington, D.C. to serve on President
Nixon's Economic Stabilization program. Serving on the staff of the Pay Board,

practiced management side labor and employment law for the next 40 years. During his
practice years, Mr. Anderson was listed in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers of
Georgia, and was rated A/V by Martindale Hubbell, the highest honor they bestow.
After retiring, Mr. Anderson and his wife, Judi, moved to Brunswick, GA where they had
