John G. Legg, Jr. (Jack), 91, of St. Simons Island, Georgia, passed away at Hospice of the Golden Isles on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Mr. Legg was a graduate of Babson College in Wellsey, Massachusetts. After leaving the Air Force, he opened his own business. Mr. Legg was a resident of Magnolia Manor for 17 years. He was captain of the Epworth Tennis Team and enjoyed riding his bike all over the island. Mr. Legg is survived by his children; Susan Gilman, Sharon Burton, L.G. Legg, Cynthia Seeley and Lisa Legg; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and former wife, Ellie Q. Legg. Memorial Services will be held at Magnolia Manor on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Golden Isles Cremation Center and Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
