Johnny W. Bargainnier, 91, a resident of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 28, at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Drew Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Born in Louisville, Georgia, Mr. Bargainnier had been a resident of Brunswick since 1990. He was a longtime resident of Savannah where he had retired with 42 years of service with Union Camp Corp. He also served in the U. S. Navy and was a WWII Veteran Mr. Bargainnier is survived by two sons, Derrell Bargainnier (Jere) and Barry Bargainnier (Vicki), both of Brunswick; a brother, Charles Bargainnier of Rome; grandchildren Stacie Haire (Audie), Tara Duckworth (Mike), Jeremy Bargainnier (Sheera), and Kelli Bargainnier; great grandchildren, Maggie Duckworth, Nathan Duckworth, Kate Haire, Matthew Haire, Skyler Bargainnier and Tristan Bargainnier. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; 2 brothers, Obe and Malcolm; two sisters, Jetta Allen and Emily New. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles. Brunswick Memorial Park is serving the family of Mr. Bargainnier.
