Jon Griffin Wood, Sr., 65 of Brunswick departed this earthly life on March 16, 2018 in Houston, TX after a courageous battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Jon was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Odell Griffin Wood, Jr. and the late Laney Juanita Nabers Wood. He is survived by his wife Deborah Collins Wood; his son Jon Griffin Wood, Jr. and daughter Natalie Wood Brand (Wes) of Lawrenceville, GA. Two adorable grandchildren, Abigail Brand and Ethan Brand. A sister, Carol Wood Hutchinson (Mike) of Ft. Mill, SC. Sisters in law: Pat Tyrrell (John), Susan Harden (Craig) and Tommie Jean Shultz, and several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3631 Community Rd., Brunswick, GA 31520, Tuesday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation and 12:00 p.m. Memorial Service.
