Joyce Breck, 65, lifelong resident of Brunswick died Saturday at SE GA Health Systems. She was a homemaker and grandmother, and constant companion of her husband in his 24 year Naval career. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy, and a Red Cross Volunteer, and a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was a loving wife and mother, and was involved in various charities including the Veterans Assoc and American Diabetes Assoc. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11AM in the chapel at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home, burial following in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery, Father Cletus Pfeifer officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services. Survivors include her husband, Terry Breck of Brunswick; a son, Joseph Breck of Key West, Fl; 2 daughters, Jenny Breck of Saint Simons Island, and Teresa Maggart of Powder Springs, Ga.; A sister, Shirley Dunn of Brunswick; 2 brothers, Herbert Hare of Brunswick and Bobby Joyner also of Brunswick; 4 grandsons, Jonathan Breck, Jared Breck, Caleb and Noah Maggart; and Several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Rob Joyner, Jim VanAllen, Thomas VanAllen, Greg Breck, Rodney Breck, and Gary Hare. Honorary pallbearers will be Donna Breck, Donna Palecek, Sally and Dick Root, and Joan and Bill Raulston. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the American Diabetes Assoc.
