Joyce Jordan Simmons, 61, of Brunswick died Monday at Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Brunswick Campus. She moved to Brunswick in 1984 from Wayne County and was a caregiver for multiple people. Mrs. Simmons was a homemaker.Mrs. Simmons is survived by her husband, Wilburn C. Simmons of Brunswick; one son, Paul Simmons of Brunswick; two daughters, Laura Simmons and Sheila Simmons-Bishop, both of Brunswick; five sisters, Vivian Waters of Waycross, Wylene Miller of Alma, Lois James, Julie Ann Batten and Sue Smith, all of Madray Springs; two brothers, J.P. Jordan of Macon and Carl Jordan of Columbia, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
