Juanita H. Bargainnier, 87, resident of Brunswick passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 at her residence. Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Drew Thompson officiating and burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. While living in Savannah, Mrs. Bargainnier worked in the shipyard building Liberty ships during World War II. While there she enjoyed volunteering and serving as the church secretary for Morningside Baptist Church. When her husband, Johnny retired, they moved to Brunswick to be near family. Mrs. Bargainnier is survived by her loving husband Johnny Bargainnier of nearly 70 years; 2 sons, Derrell Bargainnier (Jere) and Barry Bargainnier (Vicki) both of Brunswick; 2 sisters, Mavine Kardys (Ernie) of Savannah and Sybil Tull of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren Staci Haire (Audie), Tara Duckworth (Mike), Jeremy Bargainnier (Sheera), and Kelli Bargainnier; and great grandchildren, Maggie Duckworth, Nathan Duckworth, Kate Haire, Skyler Bargainnier, Alia Bargainnier, and Tristan Bargainnier. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Marvin and Donald Hartley. The family would like to thank Mrs. Bargainnier's wonderful caregivers Brenda Brasiel and Haszerlon Baldwin for their faithful service in caring for her.
