Judi Anderson, 59, a resident of Oak Grove Island, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her residence. Judi earned an Associate's Degree from Southern Adventist University and a Bachelor's Degree from Mercer University. For most of her career, she was a legal secretary and office manager for her husband's law firm in Atlanta. After retiring to Brunswick, she learned to golf and was an active member and past president of the Heritage Oaks Ladies Golf Association. She loved to spend time gardening and she and her husband, John, were active scuba divers and travelled extensively.
Judi is survived by her loving husband, John; her parents, Barbara and Duane Clayburn of Brunswick; a daughter, Carol Barboza of Atlanta; a sister, Connie Fensterstock of New York; a grandson, Matthew of Atlanta; and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Brunswick Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor Dean Read officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
