Judy Faye Moreland, daughter of Hortensie Sanders and the late Emory Moreland, Sr., was born in Ocilla, Georgia on September 18, 1949. She departed this life on July 7, 2017. In 1966, she married Willie Dean Biggins and from this union one daughter, Hartensie Biggins was born. She received her early education in the Glynn County Georgia School System. Later, she relocated to Westchester County, New York, where she received a B.S. Degree in Business and Finance from Pace University. She was employed by Chemical Bank where she worked for 23 years and retired as an Investment Banker. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, reading, and spending time with loved ones. Judy will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. She was devoted to her family and a true friend to others. She leaves to mourn: Her mother, Hortensie Sanders; daughter Hartensie Biggins Irving; grandchild, Princess Grenlear; four sisters, Linda Oglesby, Dianne Muchison, Johnnie Walters and Betty Wright; one brother, Emory Moreland, Jr.; three brother-in-laws, Curtis Oglesby, James Muchison and Ken Walters; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Moses.; five nieces, Trina Guia (Tony), Monica Sprouse (Todd), Veronica Ross (Cliff), Tamara Oglesby, and Ursula Brathwaite (Desmond); one nephew, Craig Muchison; great-nieces, Sy'Quorlia Green, Lawanda McCaster, and Kendra McCrae; great-nephews, Ian Baker, Jr., Travis Chambers, Jr., Treigh Sprouse and Derrick Brathwaite; honorary nieces, Tarsha Black Lawrence, Lisa Davis, Cynthia Black, Tiffany Foster, Nikki Corbin and Diamond Corbin. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Fabian Irving and niece, Lecresia Watson. A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2017 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at St. James Baptist Church with the Reverend Charlie Lee officiating. A private entombment will be at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.
