Kathleen Daly, a lifelong resident of the Bronx, died peacefully on June 19, 2019, at the age of 86, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She is survived by her children, Tom (Carol McEwen), Deborah Daly (Mike Powdermaker), Laurieann Daly (Bill Kelly) and grandchildren, Mary Daly Ashraf (Mike), Dr. Margaret Daly (Josh Jaouli) and Leanne and Zachary Powdermaker. She was predeceased by her beloved son and husband, Brian and Thomas. Her life was primarily being a wonderful wife and mother. She was a long time Inspector for the Board of Elections and volunteered for many years at Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx and Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. She also had many fond memories of her dearest friends in Coffee Clatch, a group that lasted many, many years. She enjoyed having fun. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 10 am at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx, NY 10462. Burial for our beloved Mother will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4199 Webster Ave, Bronx, NY, 10470. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
