Kenneth B. Goodbread, 78, of Brunswick went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 22nd. He was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and was retired from the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #177. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Brunswick, served on the Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief Team, and served in the Air National Guard. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Shirley C. Goodbread ; 2 daughters, Tami Goodbread Robertson (Joel) of Warner Robins; Karen White (Jeff) of Seattle, WA; His son, Kip Goodbread (Donna) of Brunswick; 3 sisters, Betty Smith of Anderson, S.C. ; Margaret Johnson of Jacksonville, Fl. and Martha Hill (Boyce) of Lyons, Ga.; a brother Earl Goodbread (Marie) of Baxley, Ga.; grandchildren, Derrick, Patrick and Jennifer Robertson, Ansley Sears, Kilyan and Kenley White, Kaitlyn and Andrew Goodbread. He is also survived by several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church of Brunswick. A private interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Pastor Stanley Luke and Pastor Jimmy Chapman (nephew) will officiate. Visitation will be held Tuesday night from 6 to 8 PM in the chapel of the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
