Kenneth "Kenny" Holmes, 63, died Friday at Memorial Health in Savannah from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Kenny was retired from the US Postal Service. He was also an Air Force Veteran. He was an avid motorcyclist and pool player, and when he found the time, fisherman. His greatest achievement however was the title of Grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife Deborah Holmes, and his mother Nell Goodbread. He is survived by the three lights of his life, his grandchildren, Bailey Williamson, Griffin Williamson, and Allie Futch. He is also survived by his two daughters, Kayce Williamson and her husband Joe, and Lindsey Futch and her husband Chris; his father Ernest Holmes, Sr.; brothers, Wayne Holmes and wife Jill and Ernest "Pee Wee" Holmes, Jr. and Scott Holmes. He is also survived by nephews Tony Holmes and wife Lisa, Zachary Holder, nieces Stephanie Baker, her husband Ryan and son Dalton, and Alicia Holmes. He is also survived by a multitude of extended family and close friends whose names would be too many to be mentioned. If you knew Kenny you knew a man who was trustworthy, giving, and kind. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
