Kim was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul. We all knew the battle she fought every day and the Good Lord grew tired of watching her fight demons day after day. He took her to a place where there is no more pain, fighting, heartache, hurt, or sadness. Today is she free in the Kingdom of Gold, waking up happy and healthy and smiling down upon us. She always had a strong faith in God. I would tell her, "Please get help," and she continued to tell me, "God's got me!" and I know now that he does. She is up there dancing and catching up with our Nanny and family. She will be truly missed and never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Hattie Evans, Hansel Evans, Parnell Lewis, as well as her father, Richard Cole Hanson, and her step-father; Mike Westcott.

Kim is survived by her son; Greyson Finley Cole Hanson, her mother; Sheila Westcott, her step-mother; Gail Hanson, sister; Heather Hanson, three brothers; Joseph Sumner, Preston Hanson, and Victor Hanson, as well as her grandmother; Faye Hanson. Kim leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kim may be gone, but she will never be forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Bay Harbor Church in Atkinson, Georgia at 10:30 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11:30.
