Linda Pilote Carmichael, 55, of St. Simons Island, animal lover and beloved to her friends and family died Saturday at the local hospital. She came here in 1975 from Cincinnati, Ohio and was owner/operator of Animal House Boarding Kennel on St. Simons Isl. She was a member of Christ Church Frederica. Memorial services to be held in Neptune park, Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 12:00 Noon. Lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer society for breast cancer research. Survivors include her husband, Thomas G. Carmichael of St. Simons Isl; a brother, Leslie Hayes (Trudy) of Clearwater, Fla, 2 nephews and one niece.
