Mr. Brown was a native of Greene County, Indiana, and had lived in Brunswick for 22 years. He graduated from Midland High School in 1954. He earned his Bachelor''s degree, and Master''s degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. Mr. Brown retired from the faculty of Coastal Georgia Community College in 1999. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
