Lois S. Chaney, 73, of Brunswick passed away on Monday, April 24, 2006 after a long illness. She had been a resident of Brunswick since 1954 and was an employee of King''s Shrimp and Golden Shores for 20 years as a piece worker. 'Nanny,' as she was affectionately known was best remembered for her nursery and babysitting in her beloved pink house. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rev. George L. Chaney; one son, Charles Chaney of Waynesville; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Shrouder of NJ and one sister, Libby McDonald of FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sue Chambers. Though we know she is in a better place, we will all greatly miss her. We were blessed to have this angel for a little while.
