Lonnie Christopher "Chris" McKenzie, 52, passed away on March 2, 2024, at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Born on June 3, 1971, to Lonnie McKinzie and Diane Blanton, Chris was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, but was living in Brantley County at the time of his passing.

He was a musician who loved to entertain a crowd and was well loved by anyone who knew him. He was a special person with a gift and could make anyone having a bad day walk away with a smile and a laugh.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie McKinzie.

He is survived by his wife, Arlene McKenzie; mother, Diane Blanton; son, Steven McKenzie; son-in-law, Greg McKenzie; brother, Erik McKinzie; and adopted children, Brianna Landon and Michael Jones.
