Lori Lynn Baker, 44, died on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems in Brunswick, Georgia. She was born on June 12, 1977, to Alton Stapleton and Linda B Ring in Macon, Georgia. She married John Anthony Baker II on November 27, 2010, in downtown Brunswick. Lori was a very sweet and compassionate person who always greeted everyone with a smile. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hubie and Lucy Stapleton, AC Bailey and Louise Bodie, and mother and father in law, Catherine Tyre and John Baker, Sr. Survivors include her husband, John Anthony Baker II; children, Brad Baker, Katlyn Baker, Elizabeth Baker, and Blaine Baker; grandchildren, Jaxon and Hudson Chadwick and Olivia Bennett; mother, Linda B. Ring (Leland); father, Alton Gary Stapleton; siblings, Jimmy Ray Proctor, Jr., Nancy Cheetham (Tim), Joseph Proctor, Sr. (Dawn), and Jerry Stapleton (Amy); and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to either Glynn County Humane Society or Loaves and Fishes. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 30th, 2021, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Christian Renewal Church in Brunswick with funeral services to begin at 11:00 am with Reverend Mark Linton, Reverend William Ligon, Sr. and Reverend Mike Murray officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Park Cemetery. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to handle the arrangements.
