Lorraine C Kingsbury, 89, a resident of Addington Place in Brunswick, GA died on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems. She was born on September 5, 1931, to Maurice and Gladys Palmer in Somerville, Massachusetts. Lorraine married the late Robert Kingsbury on January 18, 1968, in Kingsland, Georgia. She was a member of Norwich Baptist Church and loved being a member of TOPS. Lorraine's true passion was singing. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kingsbury; her siblings, Maurice 'Moe' Palmer and Bernice Eddy; and brother-in-law, Ralph Spurr. Survivors include her children, James Cochran, Jr (Olga), Karen Beaver (Tony), Wayne Cochran (Reba), John Cochran (Sandy), and Ralph Cook; a sister, Donna Spurr; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Norwich Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Brunswick Memorial Park.
