Louise Agnes McIntyre, 84, of Brunswick passed away July 1 at her residence. Louise was born April 2, 1929 in Dublin, GA to Allie Agnes Mimbs Garnto and Lewis Edison Garnto. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Warren McIntyre and brother, Billy Garnto, and a son John Eddie McIntyre. She was a longtime resident of Glynn County, and a 1947 Graduate of Glynn Academy. Louise will always be known for her love and devotion to her husband, family, God, and community. She gave support and guidance as needed. She was a care giver for many family members through the years. She loved us and we loved her. We cherish the thought that God will give Louise the just rewards and crown she so deserves.
Mrs. McIntyre is survived by two sons, James (Deborah) McIntyre and Danny (Delrita) McIntyre; daughter, Cathy Rogers; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
Family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Creekmore officiating. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny McIntyre Jr., Andy McIntyre, Jeremy McIntyre, Ricky Powell, Johnny Cook, and Calvin Cook Jr.
