It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Luis Rafael Maldonado, Jr., who departed this life on October 8, 2025, in Brunswick, Glynn County, Georgia. He was born on March 11, 1965.

Luis was a devoted father, son, brother, and grandfather. He dedicated many years to his profession as a maintenance man, a role he approached with diligence and skill.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Shanel Marie Maldonado and Katrina Lynn Maldonado, who will cherish his memory always. Luis also leaves behind his loving mother, Olga Iris Carmona, and his sisters, Taynee Gonzalez, Myra Maldonado, and Aileen Tosado. His legacy continues through his adored grandchildren, Greyson Maldonado, Zei'nerlis Nashaly Maldonado, and De'luna Ortiz.

Luis was preceded in death by his brother, Jose Gonzalez and his father, Luis Rafael Maldonado.
