Lynn Vosseler Allen, 65, died Monday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Born in Buffalo, NY on April 4, 1942, Lynn attended school in Kenmore NY and Kissimmee FL. Her working years were in the restaurant business in Orlando FL and Rockford IL. Surviving are her parents, William E. and Betty Jane Dettmer of Crescent, GA. Two sisters, Helen Gates (Jack) of Anaheim CA and Deborah Kotzian (Bob) of Rathdrum ID, two brothers William E. Dettmer III of Savannah, GA and Gregory Dettmer of Bluffton, SC. Also surviving are three stepdaughters, Tina Peak of Wisconsin, Michelle Donnelli of Henrietta, NY and Susan Williams of Arkansas. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur H. Allen of Rockford, IL. Lynn will be interred with her late husband in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Rockford, IL. In lieu of flowers, rememberances may be made to Humane Animal Resource Team, Inc.
