Marie Smiley Yeomans, 66, a native and lifelong resident of Brunswick, passed away Sunday evening, September 6, 2015 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. She had retired from the Glynn County School System where she was a food service manager at Goodyear Elementary School. She was a lifelong member of Norwich Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James Yeomans; two daughters, Debbie Yeomans Baker of Brunswick and Cathy Yeomans Richardson of Ocala, FL; a sister, Jeanette Loper of Brunswick; a brother, Richard Smiley of Lilburn, GA; four grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is serving the family of Marie Smiley Yeomans.
