Mark Gaines Hill, 76 of St. Simons Island, GA passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. Mark was born on October 12, 1940 in Laurel, MS to Meador T. and Meredith C. Hill. He graduated from McKendree College and was retired from a successful career in newsprint and coated paper sales. Survivors include his wife, Judith Hill of St. Simons; a son, Peter Hill (Stephanie) of Cumming, GA; a grandson, Joshua Hill (Alyssa); a granddaughter, Hannah Hill; a brother, Troy Hill (Nancy) of IN; a sister, Rebecca Hill of CO; a brother, Christopher Hill (Beth) of GA; and a brother in law, Mike Kanter (Peggy) of FL. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Heidi Hill. A service to celebrate Mark's Life will be held at a later date. Golden Isle Cremation Center/Brunswick Memorial Park is in charge of the arrangements.
