IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marsha Nash
Horton
November 22, 1947 – March 24, 2025
Born in Atlanta, Ga she formally lived in Winter Springs, FL for 29 years before relocating to St Simons, GA in 2020.
While in Florida, she spent most of her time playing tennis with the women's league of Tuscawilla Country Club. Her love of horticulture was seen in the efforts she took maintaining the families beautiful yard filled with exotic plants and flowers. Ever the perfectionist, she would happily pull weeds all day if it afforded her more time in the sun. To say she was a sun worshiper would be a huge understatement!! Additional hobbies included reading, travel, sailing, Bible study, sewing, painting and decorating her home with all kinds of treasures from her many travels over the years.
A decades long member of First Methodist Church of Oviedo, FL she engaged in many church
activities and was very fond of the women who were members of her particular
church group, the Faith Circle. Prior to her husband's passing in 2008, together they traveled extensively, with Hawaii, Maui in particular being their favorite destination.
Her passing is the most tremendous loss in her loving daughter's life, for they truly were each other's best friend.
Marsha is survived by her daughter,
Diana Carter of Oviedo, FL and her sister in law, Kay Horton of Brunswick, Ga.
Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
