Martha Ann Wooten, 76, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on August 22, 2024, at her home. Born on July 24, 1948, to the late Roy E. Wooten and Lillian McMurphy Wooten, Martha was a life-long resident of Glynn County.

Ann served in the United States Army and the Air National Guard.

She started out working for B&W, and later received a degree in nursing. Ann spent time working for the Southeast Georgia Health Systems and finished her career as a nurse with Coastal Cardiology.

In her free time, Ann enjoyed completing crafts, sewing, painting, tending to her flowers, raising birds, traveling (especially cruises!), and above all else, spending time with her family. She is remembered as the glue that held her family together. Ann was loved dearly and will be very much missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. Wooten and Lillian McMurphy Wooten; as well as brothers Gene, Johnny, and Charles.

Ann is survived by her brothers, Julian (Leona); Roy, Jr. (Denise); and Marty (Tammi); sisters, Betty, Roy Lee, Doris (D.J.), Marie, and Cindy (Terry); as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
