Mary Asbell, 94, previously of Blythe Island, passed away peacefully at her home in Charleston, SC on March 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Offie Asbell, and daughter, Betty Jean Asbell. Mrs. Asbell is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Asbell and Peggy Wood (Mike); granddaughter, Erin Larson (Richard); grandson, Richard Wood; and great-grandchildren, Hannah and Benjamin Larson. A visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to begin at 11:00 Monday, March 13, 2017 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home Golden Isle Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.
