IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Renee
Kinsey
January 13, 1957 – November 12, 2024
Mary Renee Kinsey "NayNay" was born January 13, 1957, in Evansville, IN to William Graham Hill, Jr. and Wanda Lee Gill. At the age of 3, she moved to Jacksonville FL, where she was raised and then graduated from West Nassau Sr. High in Callahan FL.
Renee was an avid animal lover, volunteering her services at the Jacksonville Zoo in her early adulthood and working with The Association of Zoological Vets at White Oak Plantation. She had many dogs, cats and other critters over the years. She was the Administrative Secretary at Housing and Urban Development, then she went on to become the Adoption Coordinator at Jacksonville Animal Care and Control. She retired from the City of Jacksonville after 30 years of service.
Renee met the love of her life, Booster "Boo" Kinsey in 1997 and they married on January 2, 2004. Together, they raised many more animals, including their recent farm family of 5 donkeys, 4 dogs, and 2 goats. A loyal Gator and Jaguar Football fan, she often enjoyed being at the games on the weekends or on a motorcycle with her Beloved Boo, or hanging with her Besties, listening to Aerosmith, going to concerts, shopping, and going to St. Augustine and her favorite restaurant, O'Steens. Boo and her Besties will always wear Warm Vanilla Sugar to think of their NayNay.
Renee was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Gill Rouse; her father, William Graham Hill, Jr.; and her brother, Mark Irving Rouse.
Renee is survived by her husband, Booster "Boo" Kinsey and family: Rita (Jimmy), Gerri, Carl and Casey, Betsy, Emma, Kelsie, Johnny, Nora, Sebastian, and Daisy; her brother, William "Billy" Hill (Ruth); several nieces and nephews; and her Lifelong Best Friends: Jo Anne Tatum, Diane Farmer and Kimberly Harrington.
Renee was baptized on November 10th, 2024, amongst her new Brothers and Sisters in Christ at Awakening Church Camden and went to be with her Lord, Jesus on November 12, 2024.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at 10am at Awakening Church Camden 117 City Smitty Dr. St. Mary's GA.
All who knew and loved Renee and the family are invited to attend.
After the service there will be a small private family gathering to spread her ashes at Hall Lake in Keystone Heights, FL, where she will be in good company of past neighbors and dear friends Roland and Barbara Hicks who will continue to watch over her in death.
The family is thankful for the service and care provided and ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either MD Anderson at Baptist Medical Center, Georgia Hospice Care, or Incachee Too Petting Zoo in Waverly GA.
