Wynette Sellers, 87, of Brunswick, GA, died on Sunday morning, April 9, 2023, at her home on Blythe Island. She was born on December 8, 1935, to Ed and Doris Murphy in Baxley. GA. She graduated from Appling County High School, in 1953, and married Wade Sellers on May 1, 1954, in Baxley.

She was retired from First National/SunTrust Bank after 30+ years of service. Following the death of her husband in 2003, she took a job with the Coastal Georgia Area Agency on Aging assisting Medicare recipients with drug plans. She was an active member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Brunswick, GA.

Wynette was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Wade Sellers, her father, Ed Murphy, her mother, Doris Murphy, and her daughter, Myra Sellers. She is survived by her son, Glenn, two grandsons, Derek Turner and Jared Sellers, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Joel Meyer officiating. Burial will take place at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery.
