Mona Crews Guest, 75, of Blackshear, died Monday evening at her residence. Mrs. Guest worked for the Brunswick News for 2 years as a carrier. She loved to ride horses with her husband, Harold. They were members of the Diamond Bar D Saddle Club, and had many friends there. Her favorite time of year was Christmas. Mrs. Guest loved her family, and most especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Guest was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Guest; parents, E.W. Crews and Girthalee Crews; brother, Charles H. Crews; and sister, Vida C. Bullard. She is survived by a son, Harold E. Guest, Jr. (Vicki) of Brunswick; daughters, Marlene Guest Corbitt (Bubba) of Brunswick; and Lori Guest Johnson (Jackie) of Blackshear; grandchildren; B.J. Corbitt, Amber Brooke Sykes (Billy), William Hobbs (Misty), Ashley Hobbs (Joe) Brandon Brooker, and Dustin Gatch (Shannon); great grandchildren, Hope, Kaidence, Zander, Abby, Brayden, Conner, Alix, Maddie, Olivia, and Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday at 2:00 pm at First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Danny Webster, Rev. H.E. Wheatly, Rev. Carl Wheatly, and Rev. Leon Guest. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Bullard, Jeff Guest, Timothy Guest, Brian Guest, Jason Franklin, T.J. Griffis, and Douglas Sills.
