Myron D. Copeland, 76, died Monday at Senior Care Center in Brunswick. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday in the chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jack Pickren officiating. Interment with military honors will be 3 PM at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glenville. Visitation Service will be Wednesday 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife, Lou Copeland of Brunswick; 2 daughters, Christina Grove of Jacksonville, Fla and Kathryn Galon of Brunswick; 3 stepsons, Kimm and Cindy Jones of Jesup, Chris Jones of Los Alamos,New Mexico, and Wesley and Jenny Jones of Bluffton, South Carolina; the mother of his children, Freida Whitley of Townsend; 1 sister, Merita Walters of Georgetown, Kentucky; 2 brothers, Bill Copeland of Yuma, Arizona and Marion Copeland of Sidney, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Copeland was born in Springfield Ohio and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 15 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Community Lighthouse Baptist Church where he was the music director. Brunswick Memorial Funeral Home is serving the family of Mryon D. Copeland.
