Oris R. Usher, 83, Brunswick, died Wednesday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. He lived in Brunswick most of his life and was retired from NAS Glynco . He was a veteran of the US Navy during World War II, and was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. He enjoyed coaching Junior Baseball in the Ballard area. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Cleo P. Usher of Brunswick; a son, Dennis R. Usher of Brunswick; one daughter, Gail Sills of Brunswick; 2 sisters, Margaret Stewart of Yulee, Fl and Neta Thomas of Senica, Ill. A brother, William S. Usher of Atlanta. 6 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
