Osborne Louis Daniels, Sr., 87, of Brunswick died Saturday at Gracemore Nursing Home. He had been a resident of the area for most of his life and was a native of Virginia. He had worked at Hercules, Brunswick Pulp and Paper and was a truck driver and mechanic. He was a concrete finisher for many years and was employed as a commercial contractor. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion and the Brookman Hunting Club. Suvivors are his wife, Constance C. Daniels of Brunswick; four sons, W.H. Daniels of Brunswick. Osborne L. Daniels, Jr. of Columbia, S.C., Warren B. Daniels and Leonard C. Daniels, both of Savannah; four daughters, Cynthia D. Hunter of Atlanta, Beverly Taylor of Brunswick, Wilma D. Stepherson of Atlanta, and Ramona D. Jenson of Delaware; twenty grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors Friday evening from 6-8 pm in the Chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the Chapel of Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment following in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daniels Family Trust Fund, 7183 New Jesup Highway, Brunswick, GA 31525. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Golden Isles Cremation Center and Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
