Obituary

Parker James Price, 15, of Brunswick, Georgia gained his wings on September 20, 2024. He was born on June 27th, 2009, to Christopher and Lauren Price.

Parker is remembered as a bright, genuine, and loving person whose infectious humor lit up every room he walked into. A gentle giant with a heart to match his height, Parker never met a stranger and never shied away from offering a kind smile, fist bump, handshake, or hug.

Parker was a student at Glynn Academy and was in the 10th grade. An athlete through and through, he was looking forward to trying out for the Glynn Academy Golf Team this year and had aspirations of one day becoming a professional golf player. While golfing was his true passion, Parker also enjoyed a good game of basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and even occasionally wiping out on a skateboard. An avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time at and on the river, driving the boat, and shooting sporting clays.

In his younger days, his hobbies included playing outdoors, digging in the dirt, and getting muddy with his motorcycle. At only 18 months old, Parker's love for motorcycles and dirt bikes was ignited when he was gifted his first. Each year, he advanced into a new bike, and loved to give his family a run for their money by showcasing his "tricks."

In addition to being an enthusiastic gamer, Parker loved fishing and scalloping. He looked forward to visiting his favorite place, Steinhatchee, every scallop season.

Parker's friends and family held the largest place in his heart. He was happiest when spending time with those who mattered the most to him.

Parker was an active member of the youth group at Bay Harbor Church of God, where he gave his life to God at Winterfest 2021. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts and Ducks Unlimited.

Parker was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lowell "Gene" Leggett, Ron Polmanteer, and Carolyn and Wesley Goodbread.

He is survived by his loving parents, Christopher Price and Lauren Price; siblings, Cassidy Price and Colter Price; grandparents, Mike Goodbread, Rhonda and David Aldridge, and Kathy Price; as well as his great-grandparents, Alyne Leggett and Emily Polmanteer.

William Tyrer, Devin Clark, Robert S. Wyrick II, Travis Wyrick, Kyle Wyrick, and Karson Wyrick will serve as pallbearers.

A visitation will be held at Bay Harbor Church of God on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow. The family encourages those who wish to attend to consider wearing casual "golf" attire.

Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to have assisted the Price family.
