Patricia Ann Janicki Sodano, 76, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Golden Isles Hospice in Brunswick, GA.

Born in Scranton, PA, to Chester and Ann Janicki, she was a 1963 graduate of South Scranton Catholic High School. For several years after graduation, she worked for Allied Services in Scranton. In 1979, she married her high school sweetheart, Bob Sodano. She and Bob raised their two beautiful daughters in Moscow, PA, before retiring to Jacksonville, FL, then Brunswick four years ago. Pat was very involved in her community and volunteered in her kids' schools, she loved reading, work games, swimming, traveling with her family, and going to car shows with her husband and friends. She was a very creative person and enjoyed sewing and crocheting – most of her friends had at least one afghan that Pat had made for them. She was an excellent cook and baker. Pat was just a nice person who was kind to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Warholak and Marie Mecca.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bob Sodano; daughters, Carla L. Sodano and Dena Sodano; one brother, Robert Janicki (Helen) of Tarpon Springs, FL; and four nieces, Christine, Lisa, Jenny, and Lynn.

Patricia Ann Sodano, 76, of Brunswick, passed away at Hospice of the Golden Isles on October 23, 2022. Golden Isles Cremation Center/Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
